Mark E. Holliday, OD

Dr. Mark E. Holliday is a West Virginia Board Certified Optometric Physician. He is a native of Beckley, WV and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. He attended Marshall University where he studied Math & Physics. He went on to further his education and obtained a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Holliday returned to his hometown of Beckley, WV in 1986 and started practicing optometry. He has offered the residents of Beckley excellent care by practicing general optometry (adults and children), the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and low vision.
Dr. Holliday was instrumental in developing and opening the eye clinic at the Beckley Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He worked at the clinic until 2007. He is also a consultant at Jackie Withrow Hospital and Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley.
Dr. Mark, as he is affectionately known, is and has been an active community member by serving on many local boards and committees. He was the Past President and continues as a current member of the Beckley Rotary Club, the current President of the Beckley Health Right Clinic, a board member of the local Salvation Army, and the current chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Beckley First Baptist Church. He is also a member of the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce. Giving back to the community is a very important part of his life.
In his free time, Dr. Mark enjoys golf, basketball, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
He is married to his wife, Julia and has three daughters, Marley, Caroline, and Juliana.
